1. About ARVO

ARVO is a trading journal, discipline, accountability, behavioural reflection, and performance analytics tool.

ARVO allows traders to record and review information relating to their trading activity, routines, trading rules, emotions, market-news preparation, discipline, and trading performance.

ARVO does not execute trades, hold customer funds, operate as a broker, manage investment portfolios, or provide personalized investment advice.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use ARVO, we may process the following categories of information.

2.1 Account and authentication information

This may include:

  • email address;
  • user identifier;
  • authentication information;
  • account creation information;
  • authentication/session information;
  • information provided through supported third-party sign-in methods, such as Google authentication.

Passwords and authentication credentials are handled through the authentication infrastructure used by ARVO and are not intended to be stored by ARVO in readable plaintext form.

2.2 Profile and preference information

This may include information such as:

  • display or profile information;
  • language preferences;
  • application preferences;
  • selected trading account;
  • settings associated with your ARVO account.

2.3 Trading account information

ARVO may allow you to create and manage one or more trading profiles or trading accounts.

Information may include:

  • account name;
  • account-related settings;
  • account currency;
  • trading-plan information;
  • risk settings;
  • trading rules;
  • custom trading rules;
  • other information you choose to associate with a trading account.

An ARVO trading account is an organizational profile inside ARVO and does not by itself mean that ARVO has access to your brokerage account.

2.4 Trading journal information

Information you enter into ARVO may include:

  • trade dates and times;
  • instruments;
  • trade direction;
  • entry and exit information;
  • profit and loss information;
  • risk-related information;
  • trade notes;
  • rule violations;
  • reflections;
  • other journal information voluntarily entered into the Service.

2.5 Routine and behavioural information

ARVO is designed to help users reflect on trading behaviour and discipline.

Depending on the features you use, information may include:

  • morning routine completion;
  • evening routine completion;
  • daily routine activity;
  • news checks;
  • market-news events entered by you;
  • confirmation that no relevant market news was identified;
  • emotion check-ins;
  • selected emotion categories;
  • emotion scores;
  • pre-trade, in-trade, and post-trade reflections;
  • no-trade-day information;
  • other behavioural or journaling information you choose to provide.

2.6 Information generated from your activity

ARVO may calculate or derive statistics and summaries from information stored in your account.

These may include:

  • ARVO Score;
  • discipline measurements;
  • rule adherence statistics;
  • rule violation statistics;
  • win rate;
  • profit and loss statistics;
  • routine statistics;
  • trading-day comparisons;
  • weekly comparisons;
  • emotion/trading associations;
  • news/trading associations;
  • Daily Recaps;
  • Weekly Reports;
  • trends and other performance or behavioural summaries.

These outputs are generated from available account and journal data.

They should not be interpreted as investment recommendations or predictions of future trading performance.

3. How we use information

We may use information processed through ARVO to:

  • create and maintain your account;
  • authenticate you and maintain secure sessions;
  • provide the ARVO application and its features;
  • store your trading journal;
  • provide routine and behavioural tracking;
  • calculate statistics and performance summaries;
  • calculate discipline and rule-adherence information;
  • generate Daily Recaps and Weekly Reports;
  • display comparisons and trends;
  • remember application preferences;
  • maintain and secure the Service;
  • troubleshoot technical issues;
  • respond to support requests;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations;
  • protect ARVO, its users, and the integrity of the Service.

4. Automated calculations and AI

ARVO uses deterministic and statistical calculations to generate various scores, summaries, comparisons, and relationships from information available in the Service.

At the time represented by this Privacy Policy template, the audited production application does not use an external artificial intelligence or large language model service to process user trading or journal data.

If ARVO later introduces AI functionality that materially changes how personal information is processed or shared with external providers, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or when that processing becomes applicable.

5. Trading and behavioural relationships

ARVO may identify statistical relationships or associations between different information recorded in the Service, including routines, emotions, news preparation, discipline, and trading results.

Such relationships are observational.

An observed association does not establish that one behaviour caused a particular trading result.

6. How information is stored

ARVO currently uses cloud infrastructure including Supabase / Lovable Cloud functionality for services such as authentication, database functionality, and storage where applicable.

Information may therefore be processed using infrastructure operated by service providers acting on behalf of ARVO.

Appropriate technical and organizational measures should be maintained to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no online service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-party services

ARVO may rely on third-party infrastructure and service providers required to operate the Service.

Based on the current audited implementation, these may include services used for:

  • cloud database infrastructure;
  • authentication;
  • application hosting/infrastructure;
  • file/storage functionality where applicable;
  • Google authentication;
  • externally hosted web fonts.

These providers may process limited information necessary to perform their respective services.

ARVO does not currently use advertising or marketing tracking services identified in the audited application.

8. Google sign-in

If you choose to sign in using Google, information necessary to authenticate your account may be exchanged between Google and ARVO's authentication infrastructure.

Google's processing of information is also subject to Google's own privacy terms and policies.

9. Cookies and local storage

ARVO uses browser storage and authentication/session mechanisms necessary to operate the Service and remember certain user preferences.

These may include:

  • authentication/session storage;
  • language preference;
  • theme preference;
  • selected account or similar application preferences;
  • other functional browser storage required by the Service.

Based on the current audited implementation, ARVO does not currently use analytics or advertising tracking technologies identified by the audit.

10. Analytics and advertising

At the time represented by this template, the audited ARVO application does not contain an identified analytics or marketing tracking service.

ARVO does not currently use the audited application to create advertising profiles from your trading-journal activity.

If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies are introduced later, the relevant policies and consent mechanisms must be reviewed and updated accordingly.

11. Report exports

ARVO may allow you to generate downloadable report images, including Daily Recap and Weekly Report exports.

Where these reports are generated locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device, the export itself does not require ARVO to permanently store a separate copy of the generated image.

You are responsible for how you store or share exported reports after downloading them.

Exported reports may contain trading or behavioural information that you may consider private.

12. Data retention

ARVO retains information as necessary to provide the Service and for other legitimate purposes permitted by applicable law.
